Witt recently agreed to an 11-year, $288 million deal with the Royals. He hit .2
76 with 30 homers, 96 RBI and an AL-leading 11 triples last year. No deal was ev
er close or even proposed but the idea was at least discussed at some point befo
re the end of the 2023 season.

而且當時交易也只處在討論階段，並沒有實質的報價
